Dawn M. Popp, 43 of Worcester, was stricken ill and passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 2nd in her home. Dawn a very dedicated mother, daughter, sister and friend was born in Worcester and has lived here all her life. She leaves behind a multitude of family and friends; Her longtime companion and best friend Patrick Killoran; her three children, Sage Braccho, Quinlan George and Caleb Sweck; her mother, Carol (Frawley) Gannon and three siblings, Deanna Baril and her husband John, Denise Stupp, Jerry Popp and his wife Michelle; many Aunts, nieces and nephews. . Dawn, with an out-going personality, winning smile, and contagious laugh, made her a joyful addition and employee of the Worcester Detachment Marine Corp League for the past several years. She previously worked as hostess, waitress and bartender at Eddy's Pub, Bennies, and Jeff's. But, many will remember the special bond between her and Pat; seldom apart and happiest together at the Club, whether in their boats on the water, hosting a cookout or holiday party, or just hanging out with a crowd of people Dawn considered very close friends and family. Her memory will last forever and she will be sorely missed. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday, December 7th from 3 pm to 6:30 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her service will follow at 6:30 pm. Burial will be at a later date. After the Service, please join the family for a continued Life Celebration at the Marine Corps League, 181 Lake Ave, Worcester.
