Rose (Capurso) Cipro, 97, of Worcester a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully joining her cherished husband Peter Thursday, November 22nd 2012 in the Holy Trinity Nursing Home. Rose is survived by a son Dr. Robert P. Cipro of North Andover, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a sister Lena Harvey and her husband William, and many nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.She was predeceased by two sons Richard P. Cipro and Peter Cipro five brothers; Joseph, Nicholas, Dominic, Carlo and Maurice, and three sisters; Mary, Lucy, and Lucretia. Rose was born in Worcester daughter of the late Ralph and Anna (Defeudis) Capurso and has lived here all her life. She was a co-owner and worked alongside her husband Peter at the Chadwick Square Pharmacy which he owned . After raising her family she worked at the Lane Bryant Store for many years before she retired. Rose was a life member of Our Lady of Mt.Carmel - St Ann Church, and also was a member of it's Golden Years Club. She was also very active with her husband in the UNICO Club where he was the President and District Governor. She and her husband took ballroom dancing lessons and were known for their great dancing. She enjoyed cooking, singing, and was always dressed impeccably. She loved being with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Rose's family would like to thank the staff at the Holy Trinity Nursing Home for their kindness and compassion shown to Rose and her family during her stay there. Rose's funeral will be held Monday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours will be held Sunday in the funeral home from 3:0PM TO 6:00PM. Interment with her husband will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers contributions in Rose's memory may be made to Our Lady of Mt.
