Donald F. Lucier, Jr., 53 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Donald is survived by his mother, Nancy A. (Burbo) Burke; two brothers, David and Dennis Lucier all of Worcester; three sisters, Cheryl A. Burke and her husband David of Worcester, April J. Lucier and her companion Benjamin Boi of Marlborough and Rachel B. Fleck and her husband Barry of Webster; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Donald is predeceased by his step-father, Norman E. Burke. Donald was born in Worcester, a son of the late Donald F. Lucier, Sr. He graduated from North High School and has lived here all his life. Donald formerly worked for Quality Construction as a laborer. He also worked for Standard Paper and Dino's Restaurant. Donald was a member of Saint John's Church and enjoyed playing bingo. Services for Donald will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Saint John's Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held on Friday, November 16th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior to his funeral mass.
