Anthony V. DiPasquale, 64, a longtime Worcester resident passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 6th 2012 with his devoted family by his side. Anthony was born in Worcester a son of Victor A. and Sylvia J. (Vuona) DiPasquale. He graduated from North High School, joined the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and served his country proudly as an Officer aboard a destroyer. Upon return from Navy service, Tony has lived here ever since, and graduated from the College of The Holy Cross in Worcester. Anthony is survived by the family he loved so much; His wife , Maritza; his son Kristopher and his daughter Jocelyn; his uncle Louis DiPasquale; many cousins, extended family and friends. Anthony was a simple man, who cherished being a husband, father and friend, who always tried to help someone in need. He was a social man who always tried to find friends wherever he went. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Tuesday, November 13th from 5 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Funeral Services and entombment with Military Honors in St. John Cemetery Mausoleum will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, care of Veterans Inc., 69 Grove St Worcester 01608 or the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105. The DiPasquale family would like to thank the Staff and Nurses of the Millbury Healthcare for all the compassion, care and comfort they gave to Anthony during a difficult time.
