James R. "Jimmy" Setaro, 67, of Worcester passed away Thursday October 25th 2012 with his family by his side. Jimmy was born in Worcester, a son of the late Achillie and Florid (Dupre) Setaro and has lived here all his life. Jimmy is survived by the family he loved so much; His devoted wife of 41 years, Linda M. (Brown) Setaro; his four children, Carrielyn Veroneau-Chaffee and her wife Terry of Worcester, Marty R. Veroneau of Leicester, David Veroneau and Darick Setaro both of Worcester; two brothers, William P. Setaro in Rhode Island and Richard Setaro of Worcester; two sisters, Arlene Savasta of Charlton and Paula Miller of West Boylston; six grandchildren he cherished and two great grandsons; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A brother, John Setaro, a sister, Susan Setaro, and a nephew Richard Setrao Jr. All pre deceased him. Jimmy worked as a self-employed contractor over 50 years. He owned and operated James Setaro and Sons Inc. Jimmy was a simple man who could fix anything and would help anyone in need. He loved to keep his yard pristine, and his vegetable garden. He was a member of the Brown Square Civic and College Hill Civic Associations. He also loved to watch Boxing. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Sunday, October 28th from 3 pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. His funeral will be Monday, October 29th from the funeral home with a procession to Greenville Baptist Church, 674 Pleasant St. Rochdale, where his funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
