Martin J. Leonard Jr.47, of Charlton died unexpectedly Saturday October 13, 2012 in Foster R.I. doing what he loved, riding his Motorcycle. Marty leaves his parents Martin and Josephine (Stumpo) Leonard of Charlton, his three children; Martin Jr.III Patrick, and Mikayla all of whom lived with him,and his wife Tracy (Jacques) Leonard. Marty is also survived by his loving sisters; Maria (Leonard) McMenemy and her husband William Jr.of Charlton, Marci Leonard and her companion Gabe Messina of Charlton, and Michelle (Leonard) Bousquet, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends Traci and Frank Manzi of Charlton, and the Jennings family. Martin was born in Worcester and raised in Charlton. He was a Graduate of Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School. Marty was the founder and owner of the MJ Leonard & Sons Company of Charlton, specializing in HVAC. Marty was a member of the Auburn Elks for many years, and attended St. Josephs Church. He loved being with his family, and also enjoyed boating and snowmobiling. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Rest in peace "Marty the one man party!" Marty's funeral will be held Friday October 19,2012 at 11:00AM in the Church of St Joseph 10 H Putnam Rd Ext. Charlton City. Calling hours will be held IN THE CHURCH on Thursday October 18, from 4PM to 7PM. Burial will be in Westridge Cemetery, Charlton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in care of Marci Leonard and sent to the Southbridge Savings Bank 200 Charlton Rd. Sturbridge, MA. 01566 All Marty's family and friends are invited to a reception which will be held after the burial at the Auburn Elks.
