Angelo A. Caprioli, 68, of Barre died peacefully but unexpectedly Saturday September 8, 2012. His wife and soul mate of 45 years Carole J. (Regis) Caprioli died September 2, 2011. Angelo is survived by his loving family, A son Matthew Caprioli and his wife Jessie, a daughter Angela Saviano and her husband Scott, a sister Loretta Riordan and her husband James, a brother John Caprioli, and his three adoring grandchildren; Max, Lucia and Bianca, also many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Angelo also leaves several very close and loved family members and friends. He was predeceased by a brother Donald Caprioli, and a sister Phyllis Caprioli. Angelo was born in Worcester son of the late Angelo and Grace (Baldino) Caprioli and lived in Worcester most of his life before moving to Barre several years ago. He was a Graduate of Commerce High School. Angelo worked many years ago for the DeGaetano Construction Company, then worked 24 years for the Winter Hill Frozen Foods Company, and then retired after 16 years with the Tyree Organization as the Warehouse Foremen. Angelo was known as the fix it guy, no matter what needed to be repaired he could do it! He was always helping people no matter what the situation all you had to do was mention something needed to be done and that was it! Angelo took care of it. Having worked in construction years ago, Angelo had a vast knowledge of the whole New England Area just mention a street and he'd give directions to it. Angelo's most treasured times where those spent with Carole and especially his grandchildren, We will miss him terribly! A funeral service for Angelo will be held Wednesday evening at 7PM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME &CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. A period of calling hours will be held from 4PM to 7PM prior to the service.
