Mary J. Teso

Mary J. (Errede) Teso, 93, of Holden died peacefully Thursday September 6, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 62 years Salvatore "Sal" Teso died in 2008. Mary is survived by her loving children; a daughter Monalisa Clemente wife of the late Valentino Clemente of Holden with whom she lived, her sons; Anthony Teso of Vancouver Washington and his wife Susan of Portland Oregon, and Stephen Teso and his wife Patricia of North Attleboro, eight grandchildren; Kimberly Ludy, Christopher Teso, Nikki Clemente, Pasquale Clemente, Kristy Berry , Tiffany Culberson, Walker Teso, and Gabriel Teso, and seven great grandchildren. Mary also leaves a brother Alfred Errede of Shrewsbury, and a sister Dell Roy and her husband Roger. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Michael and Vito Errede, and a sister Dorothy Orcutt. Mary was born in Worcester daughter of the late Felice and Rosa (Mantino) Errede and lived in Worcester most of her life before moving to Holden.Mary was a graduate of Commerce High School, and worked as a seamstress for many years at the former David's Hat and Bag Company, and also the Berwick Burlap Company before leaving to raise her children, as she enjoyed being a homemaker. Mary was a long time member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church and it's Golden Years Club. Mary and Sal loved taking road trips together. She enjoyed cooking ,baking, and the Red Sox. However her most treasured times were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a kind and loving lady who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Mary's funeral service will be held at 5PM on Sunday in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Calling hours will be held from 3PM to 5PM prior to the service, Inurnment will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, Winchendon, with her husband.
