Lucille A. (Gaulin) DelConte, 67, of Worcester passed away Sunday August 19th 2012 surrounded by her loving family in the UMASS Medical Center. Lucille is survived by her two sons; Robert DelConte with whom she lived, and Paul Jarvis and his wife Anita of Worcester, a brother Edward Gaulin who lived with her, three grandchildren; Chris and his wife Kaleigh, Nicholas, and Deanna, and a step son John Hayes, and several cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her dear sister Helen Gaulin, and her former husband Rocco Del Conte. Lucille was born in Worcester daughter of the late Frances and Edith (Mercurio) Gaulin and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Lucille worked as a secretary for several years and also enjoyed working in child care and enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved to cook and had a passion for shopping and going to yard sales and flea markets. Lucille was an avid Red Sox fan. Her most treasured times where those spent with her family. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. Lucille was a life member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel- St Ann Church and attended when she could. She was a lifelong member of the Shrewsbury Street neighborhood. The family would like to thank all the healthcare providers and friends that took care of Lucille during the years. Lucille's funeral will be held Saturday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St.with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St.Calling hours in the funeral home will be from 4PM to 7Pm on Friday. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
