Michele M. (Veleno) Morris, 65, of Auburn passed away peacefully Saturday August 11, 2012 surrounded by her loving family after complications from an unexpected heart condition. Michele is survived by her partner of 31 years Paul Berryman of Auburn, her twin sister Margaret Chapman and her husband Terry of Worcester, her sisters; Judith Boehlein of Gainesville Florida, and Patricia Zambarano and her husband Paul of Worcester. Michele is also survived by her two god-daughters, Gail Hunt, and Linda Boehlein, and several nephews and nieces. Michele was born in Concord Massachusetts daughter of the late Michael and Sophia (Roszko) Veleno and lived in Auburn for 31 years. She was a graduate of Ascension High School, and completed several courses at Quinsigamond Community College. Michele was an Underwriting Specialist for Unum, a disability insurance company. She just celebrated her 48th year with the company and was still working at the time of her passing. She was a highly skilled administrative professional and could type 120 words per minute! She was the Church organist at the former Ascension Church many years ago. Michele enjoyed being with her family and had a wonderful sense of humor and generous spirit, not to mention she made a great potato salad and pineapple sauce! She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Michele's funeral will be held THURSDAY August 16, from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 PLANTATION St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in the Church of St. John 40 Temple St. Calling hours in the funeral home will be from 4PM to 7PM on WEDNESDAY. Entombment will be held privately in St. Johns Cemetery Mausoleum.
