Rosemary J. (Barry) Gorr, 86 of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 5, 2012 in the Christopher House surrounded by her loving family. Rosemary's husband of eighteen years, Robert H. Gorr passed away in 1975. She is survived by a brother, Edward J. Barry of Worcester; a sister, Elizabeth M. Berthiaume of Colorado Springs, CO; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, James E. Barry. Rosemary was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late James T. and Mary E. (Wilson) Barry. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and later moved to Auburn where she had lived most of her life. Rosemary worked as an office assistant for Norton Company. She was an avid animal lover especially for her cat "Poopsie." A memorial service for Rosemary will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A period of calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 11th from 11:00-11:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior to her memorial service.
