Elsie R. (Johnson) Morris, of Worcester died peacefully Tuesday July 10, 2012 in the Life Care Center of Auburn surrounded by her loving family. Elsie leaves the love of her life of 43 years William "Bill" Piscillo of Worcester, her devoted son Craig Morris of Worcester who provided his mother with love and care during her days of need, a sister Elaine Zona of West Boylston "Bills" children Mark and Kellie whom she considered like her own children, and many nephews and nieces. Elsie was predeceased by a brother Charles Johnson and a sister Linnea Hebert and Bill's daughter Karen Piscillo Alicandro. Elsie was born in Worcester daughter of the late Charles and Regina (Anderson) Johnson and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Elsie was a manager for the former Norton Company for over 40 years before she retired. Elsie attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church with Bill for many years. She loved to entertain people in her home, and enjoyed a good day shopping! However her most treasured times were those spent with her family. She was a lovely lady and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Elsie s family would like to thank the Beacon Hospice for their kind and gentle words during these difficult weeks . Donna was especially kind holding Elsie's hand and keeping her comfortable. Also we would like to extend our warm gratitude to the staff at the Life Care Center of Auburn for their support,especially Anne Marie, Anne, and Paige for their tenderness, warmth and outstanding care given to Elsie during her most difficult days. Elsie's funeral will be held Friday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours will be held from 4PM to 7PM on Thursday (tonight). Interment will be in the All Faiths New Swedish Cemetery.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St Jude's Children Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis TN. 381
