Josephine R. Kroyak, 86, of Worcester died peacefully Friday June 29, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital. Josephine is survived by a sister Mary O'Neil of Worcester, a close friend of 54 years Gloria D'Andrea of Worcester, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers John Kroyak, and the Reverend Edward Kroyak, also two sisters Helen Kroyak, and Frances Holland. Josephine was born in Worcester daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie (Karbowski) Kroyak and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, and worked at the Shepard Envelope Company for over 40 years before she retired. Josephine was a long time member of Imaculate Conception Church, and also attended St Anne's Church in Shrewsbury and the former St. Margaret Mary Church in Worcester. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots games. She was a kind and gentle woman who had a friendly personality and would always greet her friends with a "Hi Sport." She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Josie's funeral will be held Friday July 6, 2012 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in the Immaculate Conception Church 353 Grove Street.
