Marcos M Gonzalez, 62, of Worcester passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 16th 2012 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Marcos is survived by his beloved wife of seven years, Genny M. Parrales; two sons, Marcos X. and Marcos D. Gonzalez of Ecuador; five daughters, Janeth G. Gonzalez, Ruth C. Gonzalez and her husband Edwin, Rozana G. Gonzalez and her husband Nahin, Andrea V. Gonzalez all of Ecuador and Maria Luisa Maldonado and her husband Danny of Worcester; four brothers, Eduardo and Rogello both of Ecuador and Victor and Carlos Gonzalez both of Worcester; five sisters, Magdalena Lopez of Puerto Rico, Grace Siva, Gloria Carranza and Lupe Santiago all of Worcester and Lidia Gonzalez of Ecuador; twelve grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Marcos was born in Guaquil, Ecuador, a son of the late Marcos A. and Maria Luisa (Garcia) Gonzalez. He lived in Ecuador for most of his life until he moved to Worcester in 2002 and has resided her ever since. Marcos worked at T.J Maxx as a warehouse worker. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church. Services for Marcos will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Sunday, May 20th from 3 pm to 6 pm in the funeral home.
