Rose Marie (DiBenedetto) Troiano, 71 of Worcester, passed away on Sunday April 15, 2012 in Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Rose is survived by her beloved husband of forty-one years, John A. Troiano; two daughters, Danielle A. Sprague and her husband Steven of Leominster and Gianna M. Hoban and her husband Sean of Stow; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Domenic, Sean, Jr. and Elena Rose Hoban all of Stow. She also cherished countless friends and loves ones during her life. Rose was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Jennie (DeToma) DiBenedetto. She graduated from Commerce High School and has lived here all her life. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Rose was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Parish. She was an active member of the Greendale Y.M.C.A. She courageously fought cancer on and off for 17 years of her life. She became an inspirational voice to others dealing with cancer by volunteering her time at the Memorial Hospital Cancer Center. Services for Rose will be held on Thursday, April 19th with a Mass at 11a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
