Mildred F. "Millie" (McGrath) Lynch, of Worcester passed away peacefully to join her beloved husband in heaven Easter Sunday, April 8th with the family she loved so much by her side. Millie was born in Worcester one of 4 children born to Frank and Margaret (Flanagan) McGrath. She graduated from North High School, met and married the husband she would spend the next 40 years with Robert M. Lynch. Together they raised their family until Robert passed away in 1990. Millie is survived by her devoted children, Maureen Rossetti and her husband Stephen Rossetti Sr. of Shrewsbury, Robert Lynch and his wife Kathleen of Holden; four grandchildren who adored her, Stephen Rossetti, Jr and his wife Jill, Robert Rossetti and his wife Lorena, Brian Lynch and his fiancée Sabrina Pechie, Tara Mero and her husband James; five great grandsons she would spend happy times with, Matthew, John, Louis, Sebastian, and Matthew; Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her son, Terrence Lynch, grandson, Matthew Lynch, two brothers, Raymond and John McGrath and a sister, Arlene Chellberg all pre deceased her. Millie spent almost 20 years working for the Worcester School Department as an office assistant for Worcester Boys Trade before retiring. Millie was a devoted catholic who never missed attending church. She was a strong woman who cherished her Irish heritage. Her family was everything to her. Millie had a close loving marriage with her husband Robert, inspirational relationships with her children and grandchildren and most recently found her greatest moments with her five great grandsons. She enjoyed reading, her dogs, walking, and spending time with her family at their beach home in Salisbury. A funeral Mass for Millie will be celebrated Wednesday, April 11th at 10:30 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street. Burial next to her husband will follow in St. John Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions in Millie's name can be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston Mass 02110.
