Nicholas A. DiLiddo, 54, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012. He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Teresa (Cicero) DiLiddo; their two children, Nicholas A. DiLiddo and Alanna M. DiLiddo, both at home. He is also survived by his father and step-mother, Leonard J and Donna J. (Mulkern) DiLiddo of Millbury; a sister, Christina DiLiddo of Jupiter, FL; a sister in law, Gina M. Papazian and her husband David; three brothers in law, James L. Cicero and his wife Sally, Jack M. Cicero and Leo R. Cicero and his wife Christine; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was born in Worcester, of the late Shirley (Brunelle) DiLiddo and has lived here all his life. Nick was a graduate of St. John's High School , in 1975. Nicky's first and foremost love was being with his family and close friends. He loved sharing stories that made everyone laugh, even if we heard the same story again, again. He loved cars, animals, nature singing and playing trucks. He developed a strong bond between the Worcester and Millbury Firefighters through the Worcester Cold Storage Fire, Nick worked the rescue mission of the six fallen firefighters. Nick was that person if you needed anything, anything at all, he was the go to guy, it did not matter what it was that you needed. Mr. DiLiddo was the co-owner of F&D Trucking in Millbury, along with Tommy Frongilllo, a very dear friend. He was a member of Brown Square and Columbus Civic Clubs. Calling hours for Nick will be held on Tuesday, April 10, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a Celebration of His Life at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 11, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester (please go directly to church).
