Antoinette Tonie Favulli

Antoinette "Tonie" (Camarra) Favulli, 87 of Worcester, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully Sunday, April 1st 2012 with her much cherished family gathered beside her. Tonie was born in Worcester, a daughter of Achille and Anna (DiGiavincenzo) Camarra. She graduated from North High School, met and married her cherished husband of 55 years Joseph F Favulli, Sr. Together they built and moved into their home on the eastside of the city and raised their three children. She has lived there ever since. Tonie's husband of 55 years, Joseph F. Favulli, Sr. passed away in 2002. She is survived by her three devoted sons, Steven J. Favulli and his wife Angela L. of Worcester, Paul H. Favulli and his wife Nancy J., Joseph F Favulli, Jr. and his wife Cynthia M. all of Shrewsbury; 8 grandchildren, Stephanie and her husband Erik, Steven Jr. and his wife Lauren, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Kathryn and her husband Brad, Erin, Caroline, Meg; 5 great grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Erik, Julia and Adrian; Toni also leaves, a brother and sisters in law, Ernest and Phyllis Favulli, Pauline Camarra, Stella Dintino, and Rita Favulli; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Three brothers, Louis J., Vincent and Guerin "Bill" Camarra and a sister, Laura Shea all predeceased her. She was a member of St John's Church and the former St Margaret Mary Church. Tonie was a quiet, dedicated mother, who cherished her family and devoted her life to them. She loved to cook, bake and family gatherings. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Tuesday, April 3rd from 4 pm to 8 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, April 4th from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:30 am in St John's Church, 44 Temple St. Burial next to her husband will follow in St John Cemetery.
