Gary J Spring

Gary Spring, 58, of Spencer, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness. Gary is survived by his two sons, Gary Spring Jr. and Daniel Spring both of Worcester; his two sisters, Gloria Honney of Worcester and Sheila Walsh of Sturbridge; his brother William Spring of Worcester; his granddaughter Gabriel Spring; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. His brother Alan Spring and his sister, Gail Penny, predeceased him. Gary was born and raised in Worcester to the late Albert and Alice (Lamarche) Spring. He later moved to Spencer, where he retired as a route driver for the Wachusett Snack Company. Gary devoted his life to his sons, caring for them and cherishing the times they spent together. He took great pride in his boy's lives. In his spare time he was an avid science fiction enthusiast, viewing many science fiction documentaries and movies. There will be a graveside memorial service for the family on Friday, March 30th at 12:30 pm in the Notre Dame Cemetery. There will be no calling hours and the family requests that flowers be omitted.
