Edith S. (Conway) Joly Lindahl, 86 of Worcester, formerly of West Brookfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 18,2 012 in Oakwood Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Edith's husband of thirteen years, Clifford C. Lindahl passed away in 1983. She is survived by three sons, Bernard J. Joly and his wife Donna of Leicester, Robert J. Joly and his wife Ruby of Sanford, FL and David J. Joly of Kittery, ME; a daughter, Sharon M. (Joly) Gaylord and her husband Marshall of Worcester; four sisters, Gertrude I. Bongovio of Phoenix, AR, Mary Louise Berthiaume of Ware, MA, Cora Oleszewski of St. Regis Falls, NY and Edna Bucciaglia of Oxford, MA; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her first husband, Donat Joly and a son, Leo J. Joly. Edith was born in West Brookfield, a daughter of Bernard A. and Florence E. (Moulton) Conway. She attended West Brookfield Junior High. She has resided in Spencer, MA, Manchester, NH and later Worcester. She worked for Whites Cleaners, Brown Shoe and most recently a homemaker. Edith was a member of Wesley Methodist Church. She was an avid Red Sox fan. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting ad spending time with her grandchildren. Services for Edith will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave., Manchester, NH. A period of calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 20th from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
