Lisa Valente Amoroso, 59, of Worcester born on November 20, 1952, daughter of the late Mauro and Alice (Gokmant) Valente, died Monday, March 5, 2012 of an aneurysm at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts with her loving family by her side. She leaves behind her only cherished daughter, Melissa Carter and her fiance Emmanuel Lokko of Worcester; two brothers, Gerald Valente of New York and companion Anne Marie Jarvey and Paul Valente and his wife Marie of Shrewsbury; and a sister and best friend, Carine Mastrocola and husband Mario of Worcester. She also leaves three neices; Tina von Czoernig and husband Jay and her two adored children Luc and Ella of Pennsylvania, Maria Mastrocola of Worcester, and Jenifer Valente of Seattle, Washington. Lisa grew up in Worcester and has lived here most of her life. She graduated from North High School; Class of 1970. She worked at Sir Speedy Printing Company in Worcester for over twenty years. Lisa enjoyed spending time down the Cape with her family; enjoying the sun, beach, and cook outs. Christmas was an extra special time of the year for Lisa. She loved cooking, baking cookies, and frying fish with the crew in the cellar. An extra special part of Lisa's heart belonged to her dog, Kilo. She loved taking him for walks, buying him sweaters, and treating him like her baby. Lisa brought him everywhere, including to Wholly Cannoli, to get a morning coffee each day.
