Michael D. Mastrorio, 85 of Worcester passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Lutheran Home surrounded by his loving family. Michael is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Martha G. (Garofoli) Mastrorio; two sons, Joseph Mastrorio and his wife Donna of West Springfield and John Mastrorio of Worcester; a daughter, Joann Randell and her husband Robert of Warwick, NY; two sisters, Margaret Leonard of Worcester and Libra Zolla of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren, Michael and John Mastrorio, Gabrielle, Haily, Taylor and Jaret Randell; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two sisters, Catherine Battista and Grace Marzziotti. Michel was born in Worcester, the son of the late, Joseph and Catherine (Early) Mastrorio and has lived here all his life. He graduated from Boys Trade. Michael worked as a machinist for Heald Machine Company. He also worked from U. S. Postal Service and Henry Hanson Company before retiring in 1988. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Parish. Services for Michael will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
