Felix P. Kudzal, 84, of Holden, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 with family gathered beside him after a period of declining health. Felix was born August 8th 1927 in Willimantic CT., a son of the late Frank and Tekla (Golad) Kudzal. He grew up in Willimantic and has lived in the Worcester Area most of his life, many years in Holden. Felix is survived by his wife and best friend of 54 years Phyllis (Pecorelli) Kudzal; two brothers, Michael Kudzal of Dudley and Anthony Kudzal of Webster; a sister, Rose Wojciechodski in CT; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Felix's employed years consisted of the Textile Industry as a machinist for various manufacturers including Fine Spinning Company. He previously worked a short time for the Pratt & Whitney Company. Funeral services for Felix are planned for Saturday, February 25th at 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held from 10 am to 11 am in the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, Rose Monahan Residence, 10 Judith Rd. Worcester 01602.
