Ida (Mero) Mangiulli, 92, of Worcester, passed away in Saint Vincent Hospital. Her loving husband of sixty-three years, Salvatore P. Manguilli, predeceased her in 2004. Ida is survived by their two sons, Raymond Mangiulli and his wife Judith of Dennis and Paul Mangiulli of Shrewsbury; a sister, Deloris Law and her husband George of Millbury; a brother, John Mero of Worcester; a sister in law, Grace Mero of Worcester; two granddaughter, Darlene Townsend and her husband Glen of Westford and Kristin Theve and her husband Robert of Northborough; five great grandchildren, Alexandra, Jonathan and Stephen Townsend, Andrew and Lauren Theve; and the two special people that Paul resides with, Fredo and Manoucheka Ignace of Shrewsbury; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters and their husbands, Grace Astrella and her husband Frank and Angelina Pozzessere and her husband Alphonse; her brother, Frank Mero and a sister in law, Joan Mero. She was born in Worcester on June 6, 1919, daughter of Angelo and Mary (D'Onofrio) Mero and has lived here all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School. She worked at New Method Loan Company and Metropolitan Cleaners. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, its Golden Years Society and the Fifty Shrewsbury Street Association. Calling hours for Ida will be held on Tuesday, January 17, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 18, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Her nephew Fr. Ronald G. Falco will officiate. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery.
