Constance Patruno

May 22, 1933 — January 12, 2012

Constance A. "Connie" (Coons) Patruno, 78, of Worcester died peacefully Thursday January 12, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Michael A. Patruno, two loving daughters, Shirley Pritchard and her husband Glyn of Fort Lauderdale, and Michele D'Amore of Worcester, Connie also leaves 3 grandchildren, Michael, Justine, and Jenna, and three great grandchildren Dominic, Mason, and Alexianna all whom where the light of her life. Connie also leaves several generations of nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Connie was born in Worcester daughter of the late Harry and Lillian (Cooper) Coons and has lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Connie worked at Leo's Ristorante for many years as a waitress before she retired. Connie loved being at home, enjoyed cooking and reading, and a good keno game! But most of all being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Calling hours for Connie will be held Friday January 13,(tonight) from 4PM to 7PM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Entombment will be held Saturday at 11AM in the Mausoleum of Notre Dame Cemetery. Family and friends my go directly to the Mausoleum or gather at the funeral home at 10:30AM. Please omit flowers.
