Marion D. (Streeter) Davio, 82, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in the Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of nearly fifty-six years, Donald J. Davio, Sr.; their children, Venise K. Chiras and her husband Robert of Coral Springs, Florida, Donna J. Iovanni of Brewster, and her twin, Donald J. Davio, Jr of Whitinsville; two brothers, Joseph Streeter of Vero Beach, FL and Nelson Streeter of Worcester; three sisters, Elsie Haddad, Jacqueline Duval and Winifred Simone, all of Worcester; four grandchildren, Robert, Anthony, Amberlee and Haley; three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Marion was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George and Venus (Ezen) Streeter. She graduated from Worcester's North High School and from Salter's School of Business. She was a member of Saint George Orthodox Cathedral, where she was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Women's Club and sang in the cathedral choir. She was a Red Cross Nurses volunteer, a member of the Red Hats and the Gemini 8 Square Dancers. She enjoyed travelling with her family and friends, the "Wonder of It All" and recalls many fond memories of Kings Campground in Sutton. Marion worked for many years for UMass Medical in the accounts payable department, having previously been a bank teller at the former Guarantee Bank. Calling hours for Marion will be held on Friday, January 13, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in Saint George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna Street, Worcester, with a Trisagion Service at 10:45 a.m. followed by her Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Saint George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna Street, Worcester.
