Teresa (Troiano)Liseno, 91, of Worcester, passed away peacefully at home surrounded with her family on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Her husband Joseph passed away in 1976. She leaves her daughter, Louise M. Rodwill and her significant other Lawrence Haire of Worcester; a stepdaughter, Dorothy D'Ambrosca of Rhode Island; four grandchildren, Lisa Chapdelaine of Auburn, Karen Solomon of Worcester, Joseph Rodwill of Georgia and Becky Bradley of Lawrence; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a brother, Michael Troiano of Worcester; a sister, Grace Dinardo of Worcester; a stepson, Thomas Courteau of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her five brothers, John, Ralph, Gene, Anthony, Frank, a sister, Rose Lepore and her close companion Wilfred Courteau. Teresa was the daughter of the late Vito and Liza (Martinelli) Troiano and was born in Worcester on October 21, 1920. She was a graduate from Girls Trade School of Worcester. Terry was very active in the Worcester Senior Center and enjoyed Square Dancing and traveling. She was a beautiful woman who had words for all she met and a wonderful sense of humor. Family and friends may gather for calling hours in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester on Friday, January 6th, from 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 10:45 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. in the funeral home before departing for church. Teresa's Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 7th in Our Lady of the Angel, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
