Helen R. (Lapierre) Bourassa, 88 of Worcester peacefully began her eternal life on December 1, 2011 after a loving farewell from her family. Helen's husband of fifty five years, Raymond Bourassa passed away in 2000. She is survived by two daughters, Linda McSweeney and her husband William and Paula Baroud and her husband Barry all of Worcester; four grandchildren, Matthew Baroud, Helena Richard and her husband Kevin, Timothy and Kelsey McSweeney; three great grandchildren, Kyle Baroud, Ryan and Kathrynne Richard; Michael Carelli, a close family friend; two brothers, Joseph Lapierre and Paul Lapierre; two sisters, Doris Wesolowski and Frances LaJeunesse; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Brian Bourassa and a brother, Robert Lapierre. Helen was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Helen V. (St. George) Lapierre and has lived here all her life. She was a devoted wife, mother and memere. Helen was a member of the former St. Margaret Mary Church and also a member of St. Stephen's Church. A memorial service for Helen will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 10:30 in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester.
