Robert E (Bobby) Lucier, 53, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday November 30, 2011. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Raymond and Louise (Lizotte) Lucier and has lived here all his life. He was predeceased, in 2002 by his loving wife of 20 years, Donna (O'Rourke) Lucier. He leaves behind his three loving children Lisa Klapper and her husband Julio, Robert E. Lucier Jr and Samantha Lucier, five grandchildren Hannah, Noah, Ryan, Isabella and Jacob Klapper all of Worcester. He is also survived by five sisters, Donna Landroche and her husband Joseph of Holden, Millie Larson and her husband Richard of Charlton, Yvonne Swisher and her husband Robert of Sterling, Delores (Dee) Guido and her husband Anthony of Worcester and Shannon Lucier and her life companion Tom Allen of Burlington, VT and two brothers, Raymond E. Lucier III and his life companion Linda Millott of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Mark Lucier and his wife Donna of S. Yarmouth, MA. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and his cat Beckey. Bob was predeceased by his father Raymond E. Lucier Jr, his mother Louise (Lizotte) Lucier who passed away on November 8th of this year, a nephew Raymond E. Lucier IV and his mother-in-law Anne (Marinan) O'Rourke. Bob attended the Worcester Public School system and worked for Saltus Press for over 30 years. Bob was a huge fan of the Boston Bruins and Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of a fantasy football league formerly known as Bob-O. He loved spending time with his family having cookouts, dining out and vacationing on Cape Cod. He was a fun loving guy who loved to live the simple life. He was a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. Bob will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We always said if you were lucky enough to know "Bob Lucier" then you knew one of the most amazing people in the world. We Love You Kiddo!! Robert's funeral will be held Monday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME &CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in the Church of St. Joan of Arc 570 Lincoln St. Calling hours in the funeral home will be from 3:00PM to 6:00PM on Sunday.
