Virginia E. "Gini" (Luce) Marcoux, 86, of Worcester formerly of West Boylston, passed away peacefully Monday, November 28th 2011 after a period of declining health. Virginia's husband Norman Marcoux passed away in 2002. She is survived by her devoted three sons, Paul Marcoux of San Francisco, David Marcoux and his wife Elaine of Millbury, Gary Marcoux and his wife Catherine of New Braunfels, Texas; a brother, Richard Luce of Auburn; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Two brothers, Raymond and Roger Luce and a sister, Dorothy Hague all pre deceased her. Gini was born in Worcester a son of Walter and Ellen (Carlson) Luce. She grew up, married and raised her family in Worcester, lived many years in West Boylston before returning to Worcester. Gini worked several years for Sprague Electric before retiring. She previously was an office assistant for Ferguson Law Offices in Worcester. Gini was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church in Worcester. She was a quiet woman, who enjoyed reading, the ocean, and simple things in life. She cherished the times she could spend with her children and grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Friday December 2nd from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Family requests flowers be omitted and memorial contributions may be made to the Aldersgate Methodist Church, 1048 Main St. Worcester, Ma 01603 or a charity of the donor's choice.
