Mary P. (Gracia) Troiano, 84, of Worcester died peacefully early Sunday morning November 20,2011 surrounded by her family in the Radius Healthcare Center. Her husband of forty six years Anthony R. Troiano died in 1995. Mary is survived by her loving family; three sons; Steven A. Troiano of Shrewsbury, Anthony Troiano and his wife Linda of Worcester, and Mark Troiano and his wife Joanne of Holden, six grandchildren, Nicole, Anthony, Matthew, Danielle, Michael, and Mark. Mary also leaves her brother John Gracia, and a sister Theresa Monopoli and her husband Peter, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, Domenic, Anthony, and Joseph, and two sisters Minnie D'Amico and Catherine "Kay" DiStefano. Mary was born in Worcester daughter of the late Pantaleone and Minnie (Fulginiti)Gracia and lived here all her life She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Mary worked for the City of Worcester School Department at the Quinsigamond Elementary School and North High School Cafeteria's for many years before she retired. Mary was a long time member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. Mary enjoyed her Bingo nights at the Church and also the East Side Improvement Club where she had many friends. But, her most precious times where those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Radius Healthcare Center for their kindness and compassionate care they have shown to Mary and her family. Mary's funeral will be held Wednesday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in the Church of Our Lady of Loreto 37 Massasoit Rd. Calling hours will be held from 4PM to 7PM on Tuesday. Interment wil be with her husband in St. John's Cemetery.
