Joan Forjette

Joan I (Kasprzak) Forjette, 65, of Worcester, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 6, 2011. Daughter of Irene (Oclatis) Bastardo and the late Louis Kasprzak and step-daughter of the late Frank Bastardo, all of Worcester, she leaves her husband of forty four years, Alfred E. Forjette; two sons, Kevin P. Forjette and his wife Anita of Arlington, Virginia, and David M. Forjette of Worcester; her daughter, Kristin M Vasel of Worcester; four grandchildren, Ana and Henry Forjette, Alexander and Katelin Vasel; two brothers, Paul Bastardo of Worcester and Michael Bastardo of Holden; many nieces and nephews. Joan graduated from South High School, and has lived in Worcester most of her life. She was a very caring and loving wife, Mom and Grammy (EE). Joan's favorite past-time was to spend Saturday afternoons with her husband at the casino. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joan's name to the VNA Care Network & Hospice, 120 Thomas St Worcester, Mass 01608.
