Charles "Buddy" Tarantino, born Carmine Tarantino, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6th. Charlie was born on August 10th, 1931 in Worcester, the son of Charles Sr. and Helen (Pette), and the brother of Michael "Skip" Tarantino and Anne Delicato. Charlie was a veteran of the armed forces, serving his country while being stationed in Japan. After leaving the service, Charlie returned to the Worcester area, where he began working at the US Postal Service, a career that would span over 30 years. Charlie is survived by his three sons, Keith, Bruce and Todd, and a daughter Adriana. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Anna, Amber, Brianna, DJ and Megan. Charlie loved to laugh, loved to live, loved his sons and daughter. Beyond his family, Charlie enjoyed baseball, and was a life-long Yankee fan. He also loved the ocean, and one of his favorite places in the world was Misquamicutt Beach in RI, where he spent many days "riding in the waves" with his kids. We that love him will greatly miss him. Services will be held with immediate family only at his request.
