Reuben W. Belles Reuben W. Belles,78, of Oxford, died peacefully Thursday, November 3, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was pre-deceased by his wife Lucy B. (Ricciardi) in 2009. Reuben is survived by his daughter Lynn A. Oliver and her husband Russ of Worcester, a brother Wayne Belles and his wife Barbara, a sister Pam DerKazarian and her husband Pete, two grandchildren, Russell and Katie, an aunt, Elda Malesky, and many nieces and nephews. Reuben was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late William and Margaret (Martin) Belles, before moving to Oxford in 1962. He was a graduate of North High School, attended Wentworth Institute, before graduating for Worcester Junior College. Reuben proudly served in the United States Marine Corp as an aviation mechanic before entering the workforce. He was a fire safety inspector for most of his career at Devco Mutual Insurance Company before retiring. He and Lucy loved to travel and enjoyed many trips to Miami Beach every winter before his illness. His most joy though, came from watching his grandchildren grow into wonderful young adults. His family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr Levenson and his staff for their compassionate care during the time of his illness. Private funeral services will be held at the families convenience.
