Bruce Wayne Johnson

Bruce "Cristal" Wayne Johnson, 60 of Revere, formerly of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 25, 2011. Bruce is survived by his father, Leonard W. Johnson, Jr. of Worcester; six brothers, Richard, Keith, Leonard, III, Derek, Troy and Shawn Johnson all of Worcester; three sisters, Lynnier and Crystal Johnson and Tina Hughes all of Worcester; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Jessie I. (Bates) Johnson and his brother, Craig Steven. Bruce was born in Worcester, graduated from Doherty Memorial High School and Broms Hair Academy with his cosmetology degree. Bruce worked as a hair dresser, loved to cook, travel and was an avid animal lover. Bruce's funeral service will be held on November 4th at 11:00 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery where he will be laid to rest alongside of his mother. A calling hour from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. will be held prior to the celebration of his life.
