David M. Specht

David M. Specht, 51, of Shrewsbury died unexpectedly Thursday October 27, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital. David is survived by his loving family; his wife Gina L (Sclamo) Specht, a son Michael Specht and a daughter Kayla Specht all of Shrewsbury. David also leaves a brother Jon Specht and his father in law Louis Sclamo, brother in laws Peter and Gary, and a nephew and two nieces. He was predeceased by a brother Roger Specht. David was born in Holden son of the late William and Helen (Philbrook) Specht and lived in Worcester most of his life and attended Burncoat High School. David worked many years at Phalo Plastic Company, and most recently at Sclamo's Appliance Center. David will be remembered for his kind heart and good-humored nature. He practiced carpentry and had a love for fishing. He enjoyed being with his family and will be dearly missed. Private funeral services will be held at the families convenience . There are no calling hours. Contributions may be made to a charity of choice. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. is assisting the family with arrangements. Thanks,
