Dori Kahale, 50, of Sutton passed away Saturday, October 22nd from injuries suffered in an automobile accident while on a business trip in Ghana, Africa. Dori is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Tammy (Fair) Kahale; his four devoted children Adisson, Kyle, Hana and Austin Kahale; seven siblings, Jacqueline Ventriglia, Houda Daou, Yvette Aboody and her husband George, Samira Shalhoub and her husband Ronald, Elie Kahale and his wife Marianna, Tanios Kahale, George Kahale and his wife Mona; seventeen nieces, and nephews, numerous extended family and many friends. Dori was born in Beirut, Lebanon son of Wadih and the late Georgette (Yanni) Kahale. He came to Worcester as a young boy of thirteen, graduated from Burncoat High School, earning accolades as a star football athlete and senior captain of the football team. Dori then continued his undefeated football career at Worcester Academy, later earning his degree in computer engineering from the University of Phoenix. Dori and his family lived in Worcester before moving to Sutton. Dori began his career as a software engineer and Micro Code Lab Manager for EMC Corporation retiring after 20 years. He then began his second career as business consultant, entrepreneur and President/CEO of the New England Regional offices of the GBG Industries International. Dori was working with three other associates in Ghana at the time of his accident. He was a dedicated son, husband, father, brother and uncle. Dori had the ability to bring happiness wherever he went. He loved to be with family in his beautiful home in Sutton, MA, hosting barbeques and making everyone feel at home. His friends will never forget his kind, gentle and giving soul. Many will remember his selflessness and his amazing smile. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church, and the Adelphi Council Knights of Columbus in Shrewsbury. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with Dori's family from 3 pm to 7 pm Sunday, October 30th in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. His funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 31st at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 341 June St Worcester.
