Rose M. Rosienski

Rose M. (Cataldo) Rosienski, 90, of Southbridge, passed away peacefully Monday, October 24, 2011 in her home. Rose was born in Worcester, a daughter of Donato and Mary (Scavone) Cataldo and has lived most of her life in Worcester before moving to Southbridge 23 years ago. Rose is predeceased by her husband Theodore Rosienski; her daughter, Carol Buono; two brothers, Anthony and Rocco Cataldo and three sisters, Jennie Scavone, Susan Cataldo and Josephine Cataldo. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rosienski worked for American Optical Company for many years. Rose's funeral will be held Wednesday, October 26th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St., Worcester. Burial will be private Calling hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to church.
