Judith M. (DeMauro) Pulsifer, 62 of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011 in her home with her loving family by her side. Judith is survived by her husband of forty years, Bernard R. Pulsifer, Jr.; a son, Scott M. Pulsifer and his wife Julianne of Holden; a daughter, Melissa Levins and her husband Eric of Worcester; a brother, Leonard DeMauro of Ellenton, FL; four sisters, Mary Bayrouty of Holden, Nancy Tamburro of Brookfield, Susan Fredrickson of Shrewsbury and Natalie Kline of Auburn; four grandchildren, Emma, Anthony, Gabriella and Brett; many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by a brother, Alan DeMauro. Judith was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Anthony and Shirley (Donahue) DeMauro and has lived here all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School. She worked for UMASS Hospital: Memorial Campus as a secretary for ten years before retiring in 1998. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Parish. She enjoyed her time camping in Maine and being around the campfire with her friends. She also enjoyed her favorite vacation spot to Disney World and spending time with her grandchildren. Services for Judith will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A period of calling hours will be held on Monday, October 3rd from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
