Geraldine Bull

Geraldine "Dean" Bull, 71 of Worcester formerly of Hartsville, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Dean's husband of thirty years, Charlie Bull passed away on May 19, 2007. She is survived by Veronica Parrott of Cincinnati, OH, Stacey Parrott of Charlotte, NC and Latasha Parrott of Worcester; a sister-in-law, Sandy Poston of Worcester; five grandchildren, Lastacia Parrott, Dominique Willaims and Dahnae Parrott all of Cincinnati, OH, Alonzo and Edward Whiteside both of Charlotte, NC; three great grandchildren, Lavontaye Parrott and Ziare Woods both of Cincinnati, Oh and Zy'onna White of Farrel, PA; many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by three brothers, William Parrott, Jr., Andrew and John Parrott; a sister-in-law, Mary Smith. Dean was born in Hartsville, South Carolina, the daughter of the late, William and Laura (Manning) Parrott. She graduated from Butler High School and later moved to Worcester where she has lived since 1962. Dean worked as a plater for New England Plating for over thirty nine years. She was a member of Grace & truth Church. She loved to play bingo and read. Services for Dean will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 1st from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home prior to the service.
