Madeleine R. (Provost) Brousseau, 94 of Worcester passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011 in Knollwood Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family. Madeleine's husband of sixty-one years, Verner C. Brousseau passed away on March 15, 2001. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Nault and her husband Jean of Shrewsbury and Linda Wolf and her husband John of Long Island, NY; six grandchildren, John, Lisa, Mark, Jeannine, Stephen and Kimberly; three great grandchildren, Kaila, Krista and Lillian Gretchen; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers, Leon and Norman Provost; a sister Lucille Aranas. Madeleine was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Harry S. and Adela (Rosenblatt) Provost and has lived here all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School. She was a homemaker whom devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She will be greatly missed. Services for Madeleine will be held Today, September 20, 2011 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held Today, September 20th from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
