Janet (Mero) Eros of Grapevine Texas, most recently of Centerville Massachusetts, passed away on Cape Cod, Saturday morning September 17, 2011 with her cherished family at her side. Mrs. Eros is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Larry Eros; her father John Mero; brother-in-law Stephen Mills and his wife Kelle, and their six children, Christina, Tyler, Alexandra, Courtney, Brittany, and Andrew; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Terry Bohn of Aurora, Colorado and their sons, Kirk Bohn, his wife Lisa, and their son Christian of Centennial Colorado, Chad Bohn his daughter Kaylee of Clinton, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Janet was predeceased by her mother Joan (Nuzzetti) Mero, her sister Joyce Mills, and her nephew Gregory Mills. Mrs. Eros was born in Worcester, graduated with high honors from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and earned her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Anna Maria College. Janet built a very successful professional career. Most notably with KPMG Pete Marwick, one of the largest accounting firms in the nation. After retirement, she had an extensive volunteer career raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer. The love of Janet's life was her husband, father, and family. She also loved Cape Cod, where she recently retired, and her beloved pet dog Molly. Mrs. Eros' mere presence lit up any room she ever entered. Her passion for life touched all those around her. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Tuesday September 20th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St Worcester. Janet's funeral will be held Wednesday, September 21st from the funeral home with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial alongside her mother, sister and nephew will follow in St John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in remembering Janet may be made to, McCarthy Hospice Care Center, Service Road, East Sandwich Mass.
