Kathleen F. (Cutting) Duplisea, 62, of North Grafton, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of forty-one years, George W. Duplisea; two daughters, Charlene M. Duplisea and Tracy L. Duplisea both of Worcester; her parents, Francis and Mary (Cronin) Cutting of Webster; a brother, Michael Cutting of Webster; four sisters, Sheila Avakian and her husband Peter of Saint Petersburg, Florida, Mary Ellen Piarulli and her husband Vincent of Oxford, Patricia Ludovico and her husband William and Frances Buccini and her husband Michael all of Webster; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester and graduated from Doherty High School. Kathleen worked as a receptionist for many years at Dresser-Rand Company and the company's predecessor Tuthill Energy and Coppus Engineering. Kathleen attended Saint Stephen's Church. She enjoyed caring for her home, cooking, gardening and entertaining. She was always happy to be surrounded by her family and she especially loved baby-sitting her great nieces, Lucianna and Amelia Piarulli. The family would like to thank the kind people at UMass-Memorial Hospice, especially Donna and Mirriam for their kindness and caring. Calling hours for Kathleen will be held on Friday, September 9, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her funeral will held on Saturday, September 10, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton Street, Worcester.
