David P. Cordella, Jr.

David P. Cordella, Jr., 31 of Shrewsbury, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at his home. David is survived by his parents, David P. Cordella, Sr. and Mary Jane (Bianchi) Cordella of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Julie Agbay and her husband Peter of Shrewsbury and Amanda Cordella and her husband Mikal Morello of Brighton, MA; his maternal grandfather, Alfred Bianchi of Rutland; a nephew, Andrew Agbay; a niece, Marin Agbay; many aunts, uncles, cousin and friends. He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Helen (McFadden) Bianchi and his paternal grandparents, Frederick P. and Louise (Zolla) Cordella. David was born in Worcester. He graduated from Shrewsbury High School where he was involved in the Hockey Team winning the state championship. He also played Shrewsbury Youth Hockey, Little League and Babe Ruth baseball for the Town of Shrewsbury growing up. David was the owner and an electrician for Cordella Electric for six years. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Shrewsbury. He loved cooking and spending time with his niece and nephew especially going fishing with them. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services for David will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
