Carole J. (Regis) Caprioli, of Barre,formerly of Worcester passed away peacefully Friday September 2, 2011 in the presence of her loving family and friends. Carole is survived by her husband of 45 years Angelo Caprioli, a son Matthew Caprioli and his wife Jessie, a daughter Angela Saviano and her husband Scott, a brother David Regis, and her five sisters Mary Jane Regis, Barbara Lilyestrom, Betty Prendergast, Nancy Regis and Pamela Banks. Carole also leaves her adoring grandchildren; Max, Lucia, and Bianca, her lifelong best friend Sharon Gerardi, and many dear in laws, close friends and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother Peter Regis. Carole was born in Worcester on October 20 1946 daughter of the late John G. and Rita M. (Pupkar) Regis and lived in the Columbus Park Neighborhood most of her life before moving to Barre several years ago. She was a graduate of South High School. Carole worked several years for the Stop & Shop Company before becoming a Self employed Real Estate Agent. She also worked many years at the UMASS Medical Center on Lake Avenue. Carole and Angelo were married in October 1966 and they started their family together, she lovingly raised her two children. Her maternal love and care extended beyond her immediate family to all her relatives and friends. Carole's ability to give love was limitless Her energy was boundless, and she worked constantly to help support her family. She was a magnificent cook and loved to prepare meals for her family and many friends that would visit. She was a great hostess and really loved to dance, sing, and have fun. She had a great Zest for life. Carole enjoyed a good day at the Casino!. But most of all she loved being with her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends. She will be greatly missed! A Celebration of Carole's life will be held Wednesday September 7, at 6PM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Calling hours will be held from 3PM to 6PM prior to the service.
