Louise (Coster) Curci, of Auburn passed away Monday, August 22nd 2011 with her family gathered around her. Born in Worcester, Louise was the daughter of Charles and Mary ( ) Coster. She graduated from Commerce High and has lived in Auburn most of her life. Her husband Nicholas M. Curci passed away on New Year's Day in 1970. Her son retired Worcester Police Officer Francis Curci passed away this past February. She is survived by her two devoted sons, Paul Curci and his wife Annette of Paxton, Charles Curci and his wife Nancy of Sandwich. A daughter in law, Sandra (Erickson) Curci of Rutland; nine grandchildren, Anthony Curci and his wife Christine, Dr Kristina Prisk and her husband Dr. Victor Prisk, Nicole Curci and her fiancée Christopher Scabia, Michael, and Nicholas Curci, Ryan Moriarty & his wife Kate of IL, Sarah Moriarty of Gloucester, Joseph and David Daltorro ; nine great grandchildren, Marcello, Anthony, Maise, Zachary, Samantha, Abigail, Stella, Jessica and Emily; many nieces, nephew, close friends and dear neighbors who were a big part of her life. At onetime Louise worked for the former Denholm & McKay. She then volunteered her time for many years for Memorial Hospital and Fallon Clinic, Auburn. Louise was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, and it's Golden Years. Louise's greatest love and devotion in her life was her family and friends. Her special moments centered around being with and around them. They were her inspiration. Louise's celebration of life funeral will be held Thursday, August 25th from the Mercadante funeral home & chapel, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Wednesday, August 24th from 4 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions made to Our Lady of Mt.
