GRACE (Boraccini) GENTILE: of Worcester passed away peacefully, Monday August 15th in the Shrewsbury Nursing Home. Grace was born March 1st 1919 in Worcester, a daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Faccenda) Boraccini, and has lived here all her life. Her husband of 68 years, Lawrence Gentile, passed away in 2005. Grace leaves a daughter, Connie Morrison Shapter; four sons, Larry Gentile and his wife Karen, Carl Gentile and his wife Patricia, Joseph "Tommy" Gentile and his wife Ruth and Paul Gentile, her beloved special-needs child. She also leaves ten grandchildren: John Golden, Jimmy Gentile, Lisa Jerry, Jeff and Greg Gentile, Dina Mulvey, Dawn Gentile, Jody Jeminez ,Shelley Bucinskas and Michael Baer; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including Richard "Dickey" Williams, who was like another son to her, and Kay Walsh who showed her such kindness.She also leaves her loving sister and constant companion Rose Demoga and her wonderful husband John, both of whom were of such great comfort to Grace. Grace was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Mathew Boraccini; two sisters, Anne Williams and Mary Conte and a grandson Michael Gentile. In addition to raising her family, Grace worked for many years at the Newton Square Pharmacy and she volunteered frequently at The Mercy Center. She was a member of The Circle of Friends, The Eagles, The Catholic Daughters and Lodge 168 of the Order of the Sons of Italy. The family would like to thank the staff at Shrewsbury Nursing Home for their loving care of Grace in her final days. Funeral services and burial with her husband Lawrence were held privately.
