Lorraine L. (Fortin) Losapio, 88, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 in The Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester. She was pre-deceased in October 2004, by her loving husband of forty-five years, Frank G. Losapio. Lorraine is survived by her loving family, a son, Richard E. Tremblay and his wife Nancy I. Tremblay of Dover, NH; a step-son, Frank P. Losapio and his wife Patricia of Northborough; two step-daughters, Linda M. Lombard and her husband Richard of Milton, MA and Paula A. Less and her husband Thomas of Westborough; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Anna Normandin and Phyllis Tremblay both of Marlborough; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robet E. Fortin and by a sister, Flora Jolie. Lorraine was born in Marlborough, daughter of the late Arthur N. and Anna V. (Sears) Fortin. Lorraine grew up in Marlborough, later moving to Shrewsbury, finally settling in Worcester. She worked as a bookkeeper for Microtech of Worcester for several years, before retiring in 1977 A Memorial Service for Lorraine will be held on Wednesday, July 27, at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends may gather to greet the family on Wednesday morning from 10:30 until 11, in the funeral home, just prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her memory to the Jewish Health Care Center, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
