Raymond Tavano

Raymond W. Tavano, 54, of Worcester passed away Sunday June 19th 2011 in the University of Massachusetts Hospital after drowning in Lake Quinsigamond earlier that day. Raymond was born October 17, 1956 in Worcester his mother was the late Jean K. (Spring) Tavano. He graduated from North High School and has lived here all his life. Raymond is survived by his father, Frank M. Tavano; four brothers, Frank Tavano of Harwich, Dino Tavano of Dorchester, Arthur Tavano in Portland Maine, and James Tavano in Florida; a stepbrother, Edwin Reilly in Virginia; Many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; Besides his mother, Jean Tavano, a sister, Nancy Tavano also pre deceased him. Raymond worked as a painter many years for contractors in the area before retiring due to illness. A graveside service will be celebrated Monday, June 27th at 12:30 pm in St John Cemetery, section St Bridget. There are no calling hours.
