Anselma Perez, 77, of Worcester, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in her home. Anselma was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico the daughter of Felix Adorno and Juana Perez and has lived in Worcester for over 33 years. She leaves her two sons, Jaime Rivera and Peter Rivera; three daughters, Ana H. Rivera, Yolanda Rivera and Blanca I. Rivera; three sisters, Hilda Rivera, Virginia Adorno and Natividad Adorno; two brothers, Luis A. Adorno and Angel L. Adorno; forty grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is predeceased by four sons, Jose' A. Rivera, Luis A. Rivera, Antonio Rivera and Juan J. Rivera; two daughters, Luz M. Rivera and Ramonita Rivera; a sister, Maria Adorno and a brother, Fernando Adorno. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 19th at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Her funeral will be held Monday, June 20th from the funeral home with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
